Dr Verinder Sidhu is an orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in foot and ankle surgery (sports injuries, ankle replacement surgery and minimally invasive procedures) and orthopaedic trauma. He also holds a keen interest in clinical research and is currently undertaking a PhD through the University of New South Wales.
Dr Sidhu graduated from Medicine at Sydney University in 2010. He undertook his junior medical training at Royal Prince Alfred hospital, Sydney, and completed his orthopaedic training through the Southside training program in New South Wales (2015-2019). Following this, he worked as the orthopaedic trauma fellow at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney (2020-2022).
He undertook specialty training in foot and ankle surgery, completing a foot and ankle fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia, United States. During his time in Philadelphia, he learnt how to treat a range of foot and ankle conditions and took a keen interest in Ankle Replacement Surgery and Sports Injuries. He has treated professional athletes from the Philadelphia Eagles (NFL), the Philadelphia Phillies (Baseball) and athletes from the surrounding colleges, including Villanova and Rutgers University.
